Money: The Need for Money And What We Will Do For It

Most people would say in their list of lifelong goals that they want to be financially successful, financially independent, or just plain up rich.

Money can and will give that capability to the people who are wealthy enough. You don’t hear many people saying that they don’t want money, that they want to be in debt, that they don’t want to do what they want to do, because of course they do! You often see homeless people out with paper cups or bowls in their hands, cardboard strips that state God Bless You on them, asking for any spare change any passerby has. Some people asking for money are not truly homeless, some are just people taking advantage of people’s generosity.
Money can also mean freedom for
many people. Many students get a job to help pay for college or to be able to have their own spending money so that they don’t have to ask their parents for money. Making your own money is also a very important life skill. It instructs young people about how to handle their own money and also how to handle real world responsibilities and about how to appreciate how difficult it is to make money. The parents of these students are probably very proud of them for so early on
learning about work and money.
In this economy, lots of people have been laid off of their jobs and so many people have had to deal with foreclosure, debt, bankruptcy and homelessness even. The United States
of America’s currency isn’t worth as much anymore because of inflation. Also, people who have been laid off are taking the jobs that college students and high school students normally would have.
